Payment status: the application and fee-payment windows have closed. This recruitment does not use the CBT-attendance-based fee-refund model applicable in some Railway recruitments.
Educational qualification: the candidate had to pass Intermediate / Class 12 or an accepted equivalent qualification by the notified eligibility cut-off.
Base age as on 01 July 2025: 18–22 years for male candidates and 18–25 years for female candidates.
One-time relaxation: the Uttar Pradesh Government granted an additional three years in the upper-age limit to candidates of all categories for this recruitment.
Reserved-category relaxation: eligible Uttar Pradesh OBC, SC, ST and other special-category candidates receive relaxation under the applicable recruitment rules in addition to the one-time measure, subject to valid certificates.
Domicile warning: Uttar Pradesh reservation and related age benefits depend on satisfying the state’s domicile and certificate requirements. Other-state candidates should not assume UP reservation benefits.
Mode: offline OMR-based objective examination.
Questions and marks: 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 300 marks.
Duration: 2 hours.
General Knowledge: 38 questions / 76 marks.
General Hindi: 37 questions / 74 marks.
Numerical and Mental Ability: 38 questions / 76 marks.
Mental Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient and Reasoning Ability: 37 questions / 74 marks.
Negative marking: 0.50 mark was deducted for each incorrect answer.
Multiple shifts: the examination was conducted across multiple shifts, and the board’s notified evaluation/normalisation rules govern the result.
Final answer key released: the board published the final answer key for the examinations held on 08, 09 and 10 June 2026.
DV/PST-qualified list released: candidates should use the official result link and verify their roll number or login-based qualifying status.
This is not the final selection list. Shortlisted candidates must still satisfy document eligibility, physical standards, PET requirements, medical fitness and all appointment conditions.

Male General / OBC / SC: minimum height 168 cm; chest 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded.
Male ST: minimum height 160 cm; chest 77 cm unexpanded and 82 cm expanded.
Female General / OBC / SC: minimum height 152 cm.
Female ST: minimum height 147 cm.
Female weight: minimum 40 kg.
Chest expansion: male candidates must have the prescribed minimum expansion of 5 cm.
Male candidates: 4.8 km run within 25 minutes.
Female candidates: 2.4 km run within 14 minutes.
PET is qualifying. Candidates must meet the notified timing; written marks do not excuse failure in a mandatory physical stage.

Class 10 certificate for name and date-of-birth verification.
Class 12 / Intermediate certificate and marksheet or accepted equivalent qualification proof.
