MBBS from a recognized institution, with Permanent Rajasthan Medical Council registration required on or before the MODRE-2026 examination date. Practical knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture are also required.

Pay Level 14, old pay scale Rs. 15,600-39,100. During one-year probation the booklet states Rs. 39,300 fixed remuneration plus Rs. 17,400 medical attendance allowance, totaling Rs. 56,700 per month.
