M.E. or M.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, EE, EEE, ETE or EIE;

M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology;

MCA, NIELIT/DOEACC 'B' Level or 'C' Level; or

An equivalent or higher qualification recognised by the Government.

Graduation with NIELIT/DOEACC 'A' Level or a minimum one-year PGDCA;

B.E. or B.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, EE, EEE, EIC or TIE;

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology;

BCA from a university established by law in India; or

An equivalent or higher qualification recognised by the Government.

Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture are required.

Final-year candidates could apply, but the prescribed qualification must be acquired by the date of the relevant written examination.

The general age limit is 18–40 years as on 1 January 2027.

For posts under the Secondary Education Department, all candidates receive an additional three-year upper-age relaxation under the special recruitment-gap provision stated in the notification.

The above additional three-year relaxation does not apply to posts under the Sanskrit Education Department, because recruitment for those posts is being conducted for the first time.

Rajasthan SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS male candidates receive 5 years relaxation; General-category women receive 5 years; and Rajasthan reserved-category women receive 10 years, subject to the applicable rules.

Widows and divorced women have no upper-age limit under the stated rules. Other relaxations for ex-servicemen, serving employees and PwBD candidates apply as prescribed in the notification and service rules.

For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks assigned to that question is deducted.

The minimum qualifying standard is 40%. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories receive a relaxation of 5 percentage points in the qualifying standard.

Senior Computer Instructor Paper II includes advanced areas such as programming, OOP, data structures, algorithms, digital logic, computer architecture, operating systems, DBMS, software engineering, networks, security, communication systems and web development.

Basic Computer Instructor Paper II includes pedagogy, computer fundamentals, data processing, programming, data structures, operating systems, networking, security, DBMS, system analysis and internet applications.

The department preference entered for Secondary Education and Sanskrit Education is important for allotment and cannot be casually changed after submission.

Candidates who applied while appearing in the final year must possess the required qualification by the relevant examination date.

OTR-fetched details should be corrected in the OTR profile before editing the recruitment form; incorrect OTR data can affect eligibility.

A submitted form is treated as successfully accepted only when an Application ID is generated.

Category, EWS, domicile, disability, widow, divorcee, ex-serviceman and sports claims must be supported by valid certificates in the prescribed form and validity period.

At document verification, the qualification must be supported by the original degree, diploma or certificate; an unrelated institution's certificate or mark sheet is not accepted as a substitute.

In the OMR examination, mark option E for every unattempted question. Do not leave all five bubbles blank.
