Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. For Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist, typing proficiency in English or Hindi on computer is also essential. Candidates were required to possess the prescribed educational qualification and other required certificates by the revised closing date of 27 November 2025.
Salary / Stipend
Initial basic pay varies by post: Level-6 posts Rs. 35,400, Level-5 posts Rs. 29,200 and Level-4 Traffic Assistant Rs. 25,500, along with applicable Railway allowances and benefits.

Railway Recruitment Boards issued Centralised Employment Notice CEN 06/2025 for recruitment to various Graduate-level Non-Technical Popular Categories posts in Indian Railways.
A total of 5810 vacancies were notified across six graduate-level posts.

Candidates must possess a Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Following Corrigendum-1, the prescribed qualification and relevant certificates had to be valid by 27 November 2025.
Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist additionally require typing proficiency in English or Hindi on computer.
The basic age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 01 January 2026. Corrigendum-1 did not change the age reckoning date.

Station Master and Traffic Assistant candidates are required to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test. Candidates must obtain a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery.
For Station Master and Traffic Assistant, merit among CBAT-qualified candidates uses 70% weightage of CBT-2 and 30% weightage of CBAT.
Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist candidates undergo Computer Based Typing Skill Test. Required typing speed is 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi.
Post-specific Railway medical standards are A-2 for Station Master, Goods Train Manager and Traffic Assistant; B-2 for Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor; and C-2 for Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist.

Aadhaar or DigiLocker-based identity authentication is advised.
Live photograph is captured during the application process.
Scanned signature must be kept ready in the prescribed JPG or JPEG specification.
