The rulebook notifies 7,500 Constable (GD) vacancies, including 700 posts in the Special Armed Force and 6,800 posts outside the Special Armed Force.
The online application can be submitted up to 6 October 2026. The correction window remains available up to 11 October 2026.
For UR, SC and OBC candidates, the minimum qualification is 10th pass or equivalent. For ST candidates, the notification permits 8th pass or equivalent.
Minimum age is 18 years. The normal upper age limit for MP Unreserved/EWS male candidates and all outside-MP candidates is 33 years, while eligible women and MP reserved-category men can receive higher limits under the notified rules.

Final merit for Constable GD is based on the combined score of the written examination and Physical Efficiency Test, subject to qualifying the PET and completing document, medical and character verification.
