Staff Selection Commission has invited online applications for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2026. A total of 1,871 tentative vacancies are notified, comprising 317 Delhi Police SI vacancies, 1,320 CAPF SI GD vacancies and 234 CISF SI Fire vacancies. Applications are open from 10 September to 30 September 2026.

Qualification
For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University or equivalent by 30 September 2026. For Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; OR Matriculation or equivalent with a three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent. Male candidates seeking Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police must possess a valid Driving Licence for LMV Motorcycle and Car on the date fixed for PE&MT.
Salary / Stipend
Pay Level-6, Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 plus admissible allowances.

Paper-I | 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes. 25 questions each from Reasoning, GK/General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English. Sectional timer of 15 minutes per part. Negative marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer. |
Paper-II | 20 Reasoning questions for 40 marks, 20 GK questions for 40 marks, 20 Quantitative Aptitude questions for 40 marks and 100 English questions for 200 marks. Negative marking: 0.50 mark per wrong answer. |
