Reservation note: Madhya Pradesh reservation, women-reservation and age-relaxation benefits are governed by the notified domicile and certificate rules. Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh are normally considered against unreserved vacancies.
₹250 for eligible Madhya Pradesh domicile SC, ST, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, EWS and PwD candidates.
₹500 for all other categories and candidates residing outside Madhya Pradesh.
₹40 portal charge is payable in addition to the application fee.
₹50 per correction session applies during the paid correction facility; the late-application fee is separate from the normal application fee.
The Law degree is the essential qualification. First division, at least two completed years of legal practice at the Bar, or a higher Law qualification gives preference; these are not substitutes for the required degree.
Final-year or result-awaited candidates should not apply. The original advertisement requires all essential qualifications to have been acquired by 08 May 2026.
Reopened window does not automatically change the qualification cut-off. The available live-page text confirms the new application dates but does not display a revised eligibility cut-off. Treat 08 May 2026 as controlling unless the 06 July corrigendum expressly states otherwise.
Age is calculated on 01 January 2027. Eligible Madhya Pradesh reserved categories, women and specified employees may receive relaxation under state rules, generally subject to a maximum age of 45 years after applicable relaxation.
Madhya Pradesh domicile controls state benefits. Reserved-category, women and related concessions require the prescribed Madhya Pradesh certificates; an outside-state certificate does not create an MP reservation claim.
Employment registration may be checked later. Eligible Madhya Pradesh candidates may need a live employment-office registration certificate by the document or interview stage; the original notice exempts other-state candidates from this requirement.
Government and public-sector employees need employer clearance. Keep the prescribed NOC, service certificate or undertaking ready for the later verification stage.
Qualification cut-off warning: do not assume that obtaining the LL.B. degree between 09 May and 24 July makes you eligible. The original official advertisement fixes 08 May 2026 for possession of all essential qualifications, and the currently visible official webpage does not itself show a replacement cut-off date.

Shortlisting: written marks are used for category-wise shortlisting, followed by detailed document scrutiny. Only candidates found eligible after scrutiny are called for interview. Final merit is based on written and interview performance.
Official-source inconsistency: the detailed advertisement contains a 100-mark interview reference, while the exam-plan attachment currently linked on the MPPSC recruitment page shows 50 interview marks and a 500-mark total. Candidates should follow the latest MPPSC clarification, corrigendum and admit-card instructions; this summary uses the currently linked exam plan.
Answer-key objections: the provisional answer key may be challenged online within the notified five-day period. The advertisement states ₹150 per questioned item plus the applicable portal charge, and the objection fee is non-refundable.
