SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 for recruitment to various Group B and Group C posts in Ministries, Departments and Organizations of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies and Tribunals.

Application fee: ₹100. Women candidates and eligible SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from payment.

For most posts, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent by 1 August 2026. Final-year graduation candidates may apply if they acquire the required qualification by that date.

Post-wise age limits are 18–27 years, 20–30 years, 18–30 years or 18–32 years, calculated as on 1 August 2026.

The notice states that there are approximately 12,256 tentative vacancies. Updated post-wise and category-wise vacancies may be published separately. SSC states that State-wise and Zone-wise vacancies are not collected by the Commission.

The selection process uses Tier-I and Tier-II Computer Based Examinations. SSC may normalize scores where examinations are conducted in multiple shifts.

Final merit is prepared on the basis of the applicable Tier-II performance, qualifying requirements and post preferences.

The advertised posts span Pay Level 4 to Pay Level 8, with basic pay ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹1,51,100 depending on the post.

The recruitment covers various Group B and Group C Central Government posts. All posts carry All India Service Liability, so selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India.

Some Inspector, Sub-Inspector and Border Roads Organization posts have additional physical, medical or physical-efficiency requirements.
