Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 including GST for UR candidates and Rs. 500 including GST for SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS, PwBD and Saharia candidates eligible for the concessional fee. Reserved-category candidates belonging to States other than Rajasthan and BC/MBC creamy-layer candidates are treated as UR for fee purposes and must pay Rs. 1,000. Bank or payment-gateway transaction charges are payable separately. The application fee is non-refundable.

All applicants must possess working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. The prescribed educational and computer qualifications must be acquired by the date fixed for document verification. Candidates appearing in the final year or semester may apply, but must produce proof of the required qualification at document verification.

The candidate must possess one of the notified qualifications such as B.Com, Graduation in Business Administration, Intermediate of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, CA IPCC/Intermediate, MBA, equivalent two-year PG Diploma in Business Management, or minimum two-year M.Com/equivalent. The candidate must also possess one of the accepted computer qualifications prescribed in the advertisement, such as DOEACC O-Level or higher, NIELIT CCC, COPA/DPCS, recognized computer degree/diploma/certificate, eligible Computer Science/Computer Application qualification, Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering or RSCIT.

Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board and must also possess one of the accepted computer qualifications specified in the recruitment advertisement.

Age is calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Major upper-age relaxations include 5 years for male SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates of Rajasthan, 5 years for UR women, 10 years for women belonging to SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS categories and an additional 5 years for eligible PwBD candidates. Ex-Servicemen, widows, divorced women and eligible in-service candidates receive relaxation according to the detailed service regulations.

The common recruitment contains a total of 2,005 vacancies across five Rajasthan State Power Companies.

Company-wise grand totals are RVUN 308, RVPN 263, JVVN 593, AVVN 393 and JdVVN 448, giving a combined total of 2,005 posts. The totals include regular, backlog and TSP-area vacancies. Reservation is governed by the applicable service regulations.

Junior Engineer-I selection is based on a Computer Based Objective Examination of 2 hours. Part A carries 60% weightage and tests degree-level professional knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline. Part B carries 40% weightage and covers Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics, General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General and English General.

Negative marking applies for incorrect answers. There is no interview. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% in each part for UR candidates and 20% in each part for the specified reserved categories.

Junior Accountant selection is through a 2-hour computer-based objective examination. Part A carries 60% weightage and covers graduation-level accounting and taxation subjects including Corporate Accounting, Income Tax, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting, Computer Application in Accounting and related areas. Part B carries 40% weightage and covers Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Everyday Science, Hindi and English.

Negative marking applies for incorrect answers and no interview is prescribed. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% in each part for UR candidates and 20% for the specified reserved categories.

The complete Type Writing Test is of 40 minutes and 100 marks, comprising Hindi speed, Hindi efficiency, English speed and English efficiency tests of 25 marks each. There is no negative marking in the Pre-examination, while negative marking applies in the Main examination. No interview is prescribed.

Selected candidates are initially appointed as Probationer Trainees for two years. After successful completion of probation training they are placed at the minimum of the applicable Pay Matrix level with admissible allowances and benefits. Posting may be made within the operational area of the allotted power company. Appointment is subject to prescribed medical fitness, character and antecedent verification, bond and surety requirements.
