The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has invited online applications for 31 Frash posts under Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026. The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has issued Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026 dated 28 August 2026 for recruitment to the post of Frash on the Establishment of the High Court.
A total of 31 vacancies have been advertised. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the vacancies available when the merit list is prepared.

Application Fee: Rs. 700 for General candidates and SC/ST/BC candidates belonging to States/areas other than Punjab, Haryana and U.T. Chandigarh. Rs. 600 for SC/ST/BC candidates of Punjab, Haryana and U.T. Chandigarh and for Ex-Servicemen. Online transaction charges are extra.
No application fee is payable by eligible dependents of Ex-Servicemen who were disabled or deceased during active operation, provided the required supporting document is uploaded while submitting the application and produced in original when called by the High Court.

SC/ST/BC reservation and concessional fee are available only to eligible candidates whose certificate has been issued by Punjab, Haryana or U.T. Chandigarh and who are domiciled or permanent residents of the concerned State/UT. SC/ST/BC candidates belonging to other States or areas will be treated under the General category.
Reservation under the Ex-Servicemen category is available only to Ex-Servicemen themselves and not to their dependents.
Educational / Language Requirement: Knowledge of Hindi and regional language. The employment notice does not prescribe a specific minimum Class 10, Class 12, diploma or degree qualification for the post.
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 18 September 2026.
For Ex-Servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxed by the number of years equal to their defence service plus 3 additional years.
For date-of-birth proof, a Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Education Board is accepted where the candidate is matriculate or more qualified. If the candidate has qualification below Matric, a Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths is accepted.
Selection begins with an Interview carrying 50 marks. Of these, 25 marks are for Suitability to the Job and 25 marks are for Etiquettes / Manners.
After the Interview, candidates equivalent to four times the advertised vacancies category-wise will be called for the Physical Endurance Test in order of their Interview merit.
The Physical Endurance Test is qualifying only and consists of an 800-metre Race, Long Jump and High Jump. Candidates must qualify every event; failure in an event disqualifies the candidate from proceeding to the next event.
Male - 18 to 30 years: 270 seconds; 30 to 35: 310 seconds; 35 to 40: 350 seconds; 40 to 45: 390 seconds; 45 to 50: 430 seconds; 50 years and above: 470 seconds.
Female - 18 to 30 years: 290 seconds; 30 to 35: 330 seconds; 35 to 40: 370 seconds; 40 to 45: 410 seconds; 45 to 50: 450 seconds; 50 years and above: 490 seconds.
Male: 2.95 m, 2.80 m, 2.65 m, 2.50 m, 2.35 m and 2.20 m for age groups 18-30, 30-35, 35-40, 40-45, 45-50 and 50+ respectively.
Female: 1.74 m, 1.60 m, 1.45 m, 1.30 m, 1.15 m and 1.00 m for the corresponding age groups.
Male: 1.14 m, 1.10 m, 1.05 m, 1.00 m, 0.95 m and 0.90 m for age groups 18-30, 30-35, 35-40, 40-45, 45-50 and 50+ respectively.
Female: 0.90 m, 0.85 m, 0.80 m, 0.75 m, 0.70 m and 0.65 m for the corresponding age groups.
Final provisional selection will be made from candidates who qualify the PET, strictly according to their Interview merit.

Candidates should note that the duty hours of selected Frash employees may extend beyond normal working hours and may also include odd hours.
