Qualification is post-specific. The minimum qualification across the recruitment includes an ITI Surveying certificate for specified Surveyor posts, while most Sub Engineer, Laboratory Technician, Cartographer, Technical Assistant and equivalent posts require a relevant Engineering/Technical Diploma or higher qualification. Several posts require first-class Diploma, specific discipline, GIS/architecture qualification or prescribed experience.
Salary / Stipend
Pay is post-specific. Regular post tables in the rulebook include Pay Matrix Level-4 ₹19,500-62,000, Level-5 ₹22,100-70,000, Level-6 ₹25,300-80,500, Level-7 ₹28,700-91,300 and Level-8 ₹32,800-1,03,600. Exact pay depends on the selected post and department. Under the cited Madhya Pradesh probation rule, eligible regular appointees may receive 70% of the minimum pay in the first year, 80% in the second year and 90% in the third year before regular pay after successful completion of probation. Contract posts follow their separately notified terms.

Educational qualification is post-specific. Candidates must possess the qualification prescribed by the concerned department for the post on the date of submitting the application.
