This engagement is apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the amended provisions referenced in the advertisement. It is not a regular ISRO appointment and does not create a right to employment after training.

Candidates should complete NATS enrolment and the UMANG application well before the 28 August 2026 deadline because the NATS enrolment number is mandatory in the final application.
The minimum qualification depends on the apprenticeship category. Graduate Apprentice streams require a B.E. or B.Tech in the concerned discipline; Technician Apprentice streams require a Diploma in the concerned engineering discipline; and Commercial Practice requires a Diploma in Commercial Practice from the prescribed recognized institution or board.

Eligible passing years: Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible.
Regular-course requirement: The qualifying degree or diploma must have been completed as a regular candidate.
Nationality: Only Indian nationals need to apply.
Previous apprenticeship: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
Experience restriction: A candidate having one year or more experience from any institution is not eligible.
Current studies and excluded courses: Candidates pursuing higher studies, or relying on sandwich, short-term or certificate courses and other excluded qualifications described in the advertisement, are not acceptable.

The notified figures may be altered or cancelled by URSC. Reservation claims must be supported by valid Government of India-format certificates at document verification.
There is no written examination or interview specified in the advertisement. Candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise on the basis of the percentage obtained in the relevant degree or diploma.
Academic shortlisting: Applications are screened using the marks and information entered for the relevant discipline.
Document verification: Shortlisted candidates are called to produce original educational, identity, date-of-birth and category documents.
Preparation of panel: After successful verification, the merit panel is drawn from academic scores in the qualifying degree or diploma.
Final engagement: Apprentices are inducted strictly according to their position in the panel and the available discipline-wise positions.
Communication: Selected candidates are informed only through email.
Travel expenses: No travelling allowance is payable for document verification.
Any discrepancy in the candidate's name, qualification marks, year of passing or other application data can result in cancellation at any stage.

The apprenticeship period is 12 months beginning from execution of the apprenticeship contract. The trainee must have an Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for direct-benefit-transfer payments.
Employment status: The engagement is training and not a permanent, temporary or contractual ISRO job.
Post-training employment: Completion of training gives no claim to employment at URSC, ISRO or any other Department of Space centre or unit.
Contract: The selected candidate must execute the prescribed apprenticeship contract.
Medical certificate: Fitness certification is required at joining.
Accommodation and travel: Candidates must make their own arrangements and bear expenses for document verification; no accommodation or travel reimbursement is promised.
Number of positions: URSC may change or cancel discipline-wise positions or the entire engagement process.
Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal as a Graduate, Technician or Commercial Practice apprenticeship candidate, as applicable.
Upload the qualifying degree or diploma certificate and a valid government-issued identity document during NATS enrolment.
Obtain the NATS Enrolment Number or Apprenticeship Registration Number generated after successful registration.
Ensure that Aadhaar is seeded with the candidate's bank account and that the account is enabled for direct-benefit-transfer payments.
Log in to UMANG, search for URSC Apprenticeship and select the correct discipline and apprenticeship category.
Enter the NATS enrolment number, academic marks, month and year of passing, category details and other required information exactly as shown in certificates.
Upload all semester or year mark sheets in one file of not more than 1 MB and upload the degree, diploma, provisional or passing certificate in a separate file of not more than 1 MB.
Upload a clear photograph and signature in the accepted image format, each within 50 KB, along with category or disability certificates where applicable.
Review the application carefully and submit it before the closing time. The submitted data is treated as final and no change is allowed after submission.
Retain the application particulars, NATS registration details and copies of all uploaded documents for document verification.
