Match the engineering-stream name exactly. Any mismatch between the stream printed on the degree or marksheet and the stream entered in the application can cancel candidature.

Final-year candidates face a strict deadline. They must pass the qualifying degree and submit proof with all semester or year marksheets by 01 April 2027. Candidates whose final examination is scheduled after that date are not eligible.

The final cumulative percentage must remain above the approved cut-off. A candidate provisionally shortlisted on earlier-semester marks can still be cancelled after the final result.

Use the university's official CGPA conversion formula. The converted cumulative percentage is treated as final for shortlisting.

Apply for one entry or discipline only. Entry or qualification choice cannot be changed later in the selection process.

Foreign-country graduation is not accepted for this course. The qualifying degree must be from an institution recognised under the Indian statutory framework stated in the notification.

Resolve name variations before SSB. Differences in the candidate's or parents' names across educational records require an affidavit explaining the variation.

SSCW Technical: 1 vacancy for a widow of Indian Armed Forces defence personnel who died in harness; BE/B.Tech in any engineering stream.

SSCW Non-Technical, Non-UPSC: 1 vacancy; graduation in any stream.

Marital condition: the applicant must not have remarried.

Application mode: offline only with the prescribed form and supporting service-casualty, education and marital-status documents.

Training academy: Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar.

Training stipend: ₹56,100 per month, subject to the notification's payment conditions.

After training: commission in the rank of Lieutenant; Level 10 pay of ₹56,100–₹1,77,500, plus Military Service Pay and applicable allowances.
