The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced the All India Bar Examination XXII (AIBE-XXII) for 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 29 November 2026.

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Bar Council of India for the All India Bar Examination. Eligible candidates generally include LL.B. graduates from BCI-recognised Universities or BCI-approved institutions and other candidates permitted under the applicable BCI eligibility framework.
Eligible final-year or final-semester LL.B. candidates may apply subject to the applicable BCI rules, absence of disqualifying backlogs and submission of prescribed undertakings or supporting documents wherever required.
AIBE-XXII applications are to be submitted online through the official All India Bar Examination portal. Registration begins on 19 August 2026 and closes on 27 October 2026. The last date for online fee payment is 28 October 2026.
Candidates can make permitted corrections in the registration form up to 30 October 2026. Candidates should carefully verify their personal, educational and enrolment details before the correction window closes.
The AIBE-XXII admit card is scheduled to become available on 14 November 2026. Candidates should download the admit card from the official AIBE portal and follow the examination-day instructions mentioned on it.
The All India Bar Examination XXII is scheduled to be conducted on 29 November 2026.
