Indian Military Academy: 19 to 24 years; unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 01-07-2003 and not later than 01-07-2008 are eligible.
Indian Naval Academy: 19 to 24 years; unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 01-07-2003 and not later than 01-07-2008 are eligible.
Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 01-07-2027; born not earlier than 01-07-2003 and not later than 01-07-2007.
Air Force Academy with valid and current DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence: upper age relaxable up to 26 years; born not earlier than 01-07-2001 and not later than 01-07-2007.
Officers' Training Academy SSC Men: 19 to 25 years; unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 01-07-2002 and not later than 01-07-2008 are eligible.
Officers' Training Academy SSC Women: 19 to 25 years; unmarried women, issueless widows and issueless divorcees who have not remarried and were born not earlier than 01-07-2002 and not later than 01-07-2008 are eligible.

Important marital-status rules

For Air Force Academy, candidates below 25 years must be unmarried and marriage is not permitted during training.
Male divorcee/widower candidates are not treated as unmarried male candidates for IMA, INA, AFA or OTA admission.
Candidates for IMA, INA, AFA and OTA must undertake not to marry until they complete full training.
